****Official Class Of 2027 Recruiting Thread****

As I believe we have just entered a recruiting dead period this week for men's basketball recruiting, any summary or our 2027 target list priorities?
According to 247 and On3 we have offers out to Jimmy McKinney III (6’1” CG from STL), Josiah Harrington (committed), Jack Kohnen (6’5” SF from Slinger, WI), Babocurr Ann (6’5” SF from Maple Grove, MN), and Donovan Davis (6’7” PF from Kaukauna, WI).
The staff was watching Kohnen and Davis a lot this summer. I believe Davis is a top priority going into the fall.
Iowa on Thurs, Nebby on Friday and back to AMES for Saturday and CyHawk game. At least he will be an ISU guest for that game.
Yes, Donovan Davis, Baboucarr Ann, 2027 commit Josiah Harrington, and 2026 commit Yusef Gray Jr. were in attendance for the Cyhawk game on Saturday. There is a photo on X of them next to the basketball team.
DD has set 2 ISU visits... don't see that every day.
WVU on Jan 2 and KU on Feb 14. I would guess Jan 2 WVU game is because he is still on school holiday break so it is easier for him to get away. The KU game on Feb 14, no explanation needed.

Tells me we're the leader by a good distance. Almost like he wants to come back and commit in person.
Yeah, I think that’s a good sign for Davis committing to the good guys. Does anyone have an update on who the leader in the clubhouse is for Jack Kohnen, the SF out of Slinger, WI? He seems like a potential replacement for when Milan graduates.
DD is going for Matt Thomas’s ISU visit record.

It looks like some people are comparing him to Jason Williams. Looks to be a dynamic combo guard that is blowing up. He’s a four star on ESPN. He can shoot and he has hops and handles.

Nah he just got with a program that will get him exposure. Also he will help us get a connection with that team and they will be a top three prep soon. So that helps to take a player but I think he is actually pretty darn good and will rise in the rankings
