Of course they could lose focus like any team, but they blew out Boise State and won @#13 Florida and will play @top 5 Miami next week.

If it's even close vs Miami I think you have to pencil them in as a top ten-ish team at 10-2 or 11-1 heading into their championship game. If they somehow beat Miami...and Miami or Florida have a good season they're going to beg for a really high ranking all year even though @Memphis is probably their only challenging conference game.

It's highly unlikely but 12-1 American CCG loser USF is the path to multi G5 bids.

I think USF will be the G5 team. I don’t see any other G5 teams that will make a case for a bid.

What other G5 team were you thinking could possibly make a case for a playoff berth?

I wont' root for the SEC much but I'd like to see OU keep this up. This would be a bigger loss for the big ten than win for the SEC.

Nah it’s a much bigger SEC loss, Michaign isn’t going to be that good this year and the SEC just had Florida have an embarrassing loss. If OU loses that means just about every top team outside of Georgia/LSU has a loss already.

Well I went to both so yeah I’m just a more rational fan. Most alums have Michigan as a fringe playoff team at best but I’m not sure they make it in.

They get the love from ending the season beating OSU and Bama and brining in the best frehsman QB. But there is a lot of other pieces that are missing in the WR room and on the OL

Farmageddon name doesn't bother me at all as a city slicker ISU alum living in Los Angeles, I like it, but if these cowbells were our thing I'd be embarrassed of that.
