***2025 Week 2 (Sept. 5-6) CFB Games Thread***

Totally stupid and illogical doesn't mean "conspiracy".

Please explain to me how SMU should have been ten spots ahead of BYU all season. Is that a conspiracy? I'll hang up and listen to your brilliance.
Can’t, it’s the stupid rule that they don’t want to drop people for losing their conference championship game which is very very dumb

Why were they ever in front of them to begin with, let alone 5-10 spots all year? They lost to them on the road and had the same record.

Ranking Colorado ahead of Georgia Tech this week would be the exact same idiocy.

What was on Clemson and SMU and MIami's resume that was so much better than ISU, ASU and BYU? Absolutely nothing. It's intellectually weak to think I'm talking "conspiracy", this is just fact.

The ACC was worse than the Big 12 last year yet the CFP had them way above all season. It's not like I'm arguing the Big 12 outplayed the top of SEC and Big Ten, you really can't argue the ACC was better last year anywhere but the damaged minds of the CFP committee.

A stop would be incredible for KU, but as long as they get the ball with 3-4 minutes left I'd feel good about Daniels and 4 downs.

Well neither are close to ranked but I understand your point. I have no idea what the initial rankings were for the two teams. It’s always better to lose at the beginning of the season and BYU got their losses at the end of the season.

BYU had two losses and missed their championship game and SMU had 1 and made the conference championship game. I might not agree with it but the logic is fine even if I think SMU played no one.

Tough grab by the Missouri player on that 4th down.

Might have been game, sounds crazy but I almost want missouri to score to give KU more time to drive.

***and they did, I could totally see a 4:00 KU TD drive here

He and Ferentz will be attending a retirement home where other old people will look at them and reminisce when they were actually good
At least one of them will be able to rock a mullet, the other is actually stuck in the 80's

You sure about that? Average life expectancy in the US is only 78.4 years.
