I want to hear from the radio guys. A Ryan Rolhk interview would entertain me, would also help the casual fan like me get to know the voices like we do with John and Eric.

The Humboldt dual is cool in my opinion. Would love to have it be a little bigger out of conference one like it has in the past with Purdue or Wisconsin but I think it’s a pretty good/neutral regardless.Disappointing that the dual in Humboldt isn't against a non-conference school/community college like Nebraska -Kearney instead of a Big 12 opponent/South Dakota State. Season ticket holders are missing out on an opportunity to watch a conference matchup in Ames, while still paying for a ticket when the dual is held elsewhere. (Actually more $ if they choose to go to Humboldt without a reserved seat)
It seems like there are more creative ways to "give back" to those who helped Dresser get started than "take away" from others. Great-- have a dual in Humboldt, but maybe make it an invitational, dual against a D-2 school, etc. Season ticket holders should be able to watch "home" conference duals in Ames.
I understand supporting those that support you, we all support the cyclones. As long as Dresser is the coach, I think there will be a dual in Humboldt. Giving back to his high school program & the 1st fundraising group that helped him get the CRTC going. Dresser doesn’t take those that helped him get started for granted
I get it, but at what point have you paid them back? 10 years of duals seems a bit excessive. There are plenty of CRTC type events over that way that he can continue to support Humboldt. I don’t see Iowa hosting duals in Bob Nicolls hometown. It just seems like something Dresser likes because he’s from there, but not sure how it benefits the program.I understand supporting those that support you, we all support the cyclones.
At this point have a dual in Trinidad, Cuba and get more recruits nailed down.
Use it to wrestle any of the surrounding border states schoolsI get it, but at what point have you paid them back? 10 years of duals seems a bit excessive. It was a cool novelty event, but it has run its course. Unless you live in or near Humboldt, I doubt you enjoy this much anymore.

But that hasn't been a thing for 5+ years and won't happen again. I would also add that not only does it take away from season ticket holders but for casual fans it puts a match in a hard to get to place where there is no live video to watch like when it is in Hilton further disconnecting the program.MBB ticket holders get this same deal, whenever they put a game in Des Moines. I've come to accept it as part of being a season ticket holder. The AD knows very few if any are going to drop their season tkts over 1 game or meet.
This is an excellent suggestion @jcordova8. Not only from the radio perspective but NIL updates etc. We already get that from Blum on W&B but it would be nice to hear more of the business side from him as well. Probably worth a regular appearance.I want to hear from the radio guys. He has not! That I am aware of. I've considered writing a feature story on him before but maybe a podcast would pair nice too!Has anyone ever interviewed coach Nando viazcuza(?sp) on his relationship with the forgives and what it takes to coach them up from freestyle and help them get acclimated here?
I never know if there's interest in the podcast going more year round. If there's interest, I would love to!This is an excellent suggestion @jcordova8. Also I can't remember which month during the spring/summer was crazy for transfers etc. but if I remember right you didn't do any pods much past NCAAs. That needs to change as well to give updates on targets, signers etc.
Yes! He'll still be back, if that were to change I'd let you guys know! Once it's the offseason Ben really disconnects from social. He's been very busy this summer with his wife, work, etc. so he's just been a bit more MIA than usual!@jcordova8 Will Ben Visser be back for another season with the Reaction Time pod? Thought you 2 are a good pair to cover the action and team overall.
There is most definitely interest!I never know if there's interest in the podcast going more year round. If there's interest, I would love to!
