Wrestle-Offs Dates and Times

Still a long way to the Iowa dual. Guessing the lineup we see for Stanford and Navy won’t be the same as what we see vs Iowa. Not saying we’ll be at full health for Iowa, but a week or two of rest can do a lot for the health of these guys
I'm good with treating the first two meets as tune ups & chances to see some young guys on the mat if it means letting our studs heal up for the hoks. With our depth, we should be able to beat Stanford & Navy with that approach.

Man everyone is overlooking Stanford. We can’t just walk in there and beat them with any lineup. They are going to bring a great squad to Ames and they will throw true freshman in there to beat us if they need to. People can say what they want about dual meets but I can guarantee they are coming here to win that dual

And it got a lot tighter too without Yonger.

Not discounting Stanford at all. Just very confident in our depth. We have blood round guys, top 20 recruits & Big 12 champions who may not crack our lineup. That's all.

I don’t think anyone is overlooking them.

I just think we will beat them regardless of if we have a full lineup.

Championship level teams have great depth, which we do.

That, and clearly Stanford is dealing with some things too. They didn’t weigh in a 125 tonight and Cardenas is redshirting at 157.

If they wrestle Valencia at 41, Cholakyan at 57, and we don’t have Casey, MJ, and Paniro in there, they can win 8/10 weights. Not to mention Yonger being out. Not saying they will, but this dual will be tight. They could easily pull off the upset

Stanford looked good against UV and CSB last night. Granted the level of competition wasn't great, but if they are able to get Provo back at 125 we could be in for a real fight.
