This is the first I heard about Schon gray shirting. I usually don't miss things like that. Makes sense. I am really interested to see how Carroll against him (highly touted PA recruit ho has been around the program since 2021).
Schon, down at 197, could be sneaky good.
If he's gotten his weight down, it tells me he has that discipline piece working, and he's doing the right things off the mat.
Schon has always been a super strong and mobile guy, much like Carroll, he just wasn't super active on the national scene. I think Carroll wins, but that's going to be a really fun one to watch if they do hit at wrestle-offs.

Frost beat him in wrestleoffs last year, would make sense for frost to have a higher seed based on that. Also based on the depth chart/seeds released from Flo the other day Frost is the 1.
I had forgot about that. It's really picking nits anyway since it will come down to another wrestleoff between those two.

I'm not privy to insider info like some here. If this is the case, with limited time and resources, why is he on the team? Coaches tell kids to move it along all the time.

Looks good. Would only add, I believe it's been said that Casey won't wrestle on the 13th. I'd be surprised if he wrestled off at all. Also think you would have to give the #1 seed to Redding (is he really only a JR?), just based on experience at 141. I think JFrost wins the weight though.
Casey will not be wrestling this round, maybe in November, but doubtful
