Rockies owners have no interest in trying to win.
I had a conversation yesterday with a fellow Denver resident and we were OK with the Rockies being horrible as it allows us to get great cheap tickets whenever we want to go to the park for a game.

Huge day for the Rockies as the Penner Group (Walmart group that owns the Broncos) bought 40% of the team. Can't remember the last time there was much "hope" when talking about the Rockies.

Now Monfort just needs to sell another 10% to them and let the Penners spend some of that Walmart money on the Rockies like they’ve been doing for the Broncos!
