Nicely done, you did a great job repurposing that.Pretty happy with the results.

Not handy at all seemed to be a little humble.
I watched a lot of youtube videos and it's rough around the edges. Cutting those bottom doors down to size was by far the toughest part.
Pretty happy with the results.

I got a Kreg jig K5 for Xmas. It’s a pretty slick tool and I’m initially really happy with it. Made a couple end tables I still need to stain but my garage isn’t heated so I am not sure when that’s going to get done. I don’t really want to stain if it’s below 50. Anyone got any experience with that?Yeah, that looked to be the toughest part of the project. I guess the bottom rails came off easily enough for you?
And yes, Kreg jigs are awesome.
Looks cool. So, how do you plan to use the open space and the surface without blocking too much of the background?
All my beer glasses go in the bottom and her wine glasses hang. I ended up putting motion detector puck lights(battery) in the closed section where the glasses go but they don't pick up movement very well. I was hoping that as soon as I open the doors, the lights would turn on but I have to tap them to make them turn on. Also bought a rubber bar mat for the main area.
So the counter will be mostly used for serving, not storing bottles?
