Winner: The Big 12

A lot of that is about bowl placements. ISU got a bad draw in O. The Clones should have played aTm, Cincinnati, IU or someone in the same tier.

The ACC finished 0-6. Yikes.

We are fine with Oregon. If you understand recruiting and HS kids, beating Oregon is bigger than any of those except A&M would be similar. Kids know hot teams from the last decade and Oregon is one.

AtM is the only one I would have liked to play out of those 3. the other 2 would have ended up the same as Oregon if not worse.

You make my point. ISU would have beaten higher-ranked quality teams had they been placed against them rather than O which didn't even win its P12 division. It's over now. Doesn't matter.

Still looking for the KSU bowl results...

Cincy, No. Beat them and the narrative is “see, G5 just aren’t that good.” Indiana would’ve been fun only because they have clearly been a fraud all year. They were correctly placed with a bottom feeder SEC team that just like Indiana accomplished nothing in the season. By beating SC Oregon had accomplished more than Indiana.

A&M I will agree on. But other than A&M Oregon was probably my second choice. Would rather have the biggest brand program possible.

A&M would have been the better competition for sure. but Oregon we at least had a bigger national brand that we proceeded to whoop their ass on national TV, beating Cincy or Indiana wouldn't have even moved the needle on anything.
