When I moved in we had 3 window wells that had metal grates over them already. Great to prevent people falling in, but got lots of small rodents and frogs/toads so I got some plexiglass (I think?) at Home Depot and cut to size myself and attached to the grates. Has worked well over the past 4 years. IMG_7449.jpeg

9 iron because that’s what finished him off.

I ended up just setting a 2x4 in there and he crawled himself out. It was still muddy around the window area so claw marks from him trying to get out made it look like I took a golf club to him.

This is who did mine 13 years ago and they still look good. I live in Johnston and I believe they came from Omaha.
Do you remember what you paid, I talked to someone, might have been them and they quoted me a price of between $500 to $800 a piece, and I had to install them. Just cannot believe there is not a local company in Des Moines or Ames that will come out, measure everything out and give you a quote.

There are. It might also be the companies that install the windows, too. I'd just call around to people that install egress windows and ask if they do them themselves or if they don't, who they recommend. I think the guy from BAM actually had a flyer with prices from the people they used.

I just sent them an email from the website, would like to get something done this spring. Thanks.

I dont remember the price. I would think if u gave them the measurement they could give you the exact price. They just clip in so they are not hard to install but I would think they would have to be built on-site.
