Will the BIG10 Reverse Their Decision?

Wisconsin also had their best and brightest sign. Right @cowgirl836?
I guess I just really don't see those signatures as carrying much weight. I don't think it would matter if they had the governors sign. But it would definitely carry more weight than some members of the statehouse

But Barry is on record saying that he agreed with the Big10's decision. Or has he changed his mind?

I hope he hasn't. I agree with the Big 10's decision and I'd like my university to do so as well.

And just to be clear, I was being sarcastic with the statement about Fitzgerald and Vos

They'll expect PAC12 to play also, which leads to "post-season" B1G/PAC12 "bowl" matchups. A rather rosy outlook, I suppose.

That actually sounds kind of fun but as players would be sitting out the season for the draft, I'd assume even more would vie for sitting for a bowl unless the bowl was a week after their 'season'. That's really close to the regular season in 2021.

I just don’t see how those that are opposed to playing now are going to feel any differently come Jan or Feb. We have 189,000 dead after 6 months and the best model predicts 410,000 total dead by Jan 1 with huge numbers ramping up in late October or late November and increasing into the new year.

Not saying what I think, but if one thinks it’s too dangerous now, they won’t be playing ball in the spring.

If they keep tracking every positive test like it's Ebola and attributing every death to Covid, Iowa may be done with sports........FOREVER!

Yeah I don't think anything will be changed in a few months unfortunately. The only thing that would change anything is a vaccine, change in testing, or change in treatment. I don't think it's realistic to assume the active cases will change at all in a few months.

Best model... Want to lay some money down on that one?

I do agree though and I don't see anyone changing their minds for November. Things will get worse with the typical seasonal sniffles.

The tOSU podcasts I listen to are absolutely Qanon levels of conspiracy theory. It’s all a ploy by Kevin Warren to remove Trump.

Beyond the obvious reasons why this is just utterly stupid, I think this situation helps Trump.

And there's more, Day hints at mid-October return. I've run out of popcorn watching this trainwreck, does anybody have some to spare?

What a click bait headline...wow. That school has just over 5000 undergrands and under 400 faculty.
If one analyzes the trend in 'tricky' headlines and follows the medium doing it, you'll also find mandatory subscriptions. We, collectively, are 'buying' it. Either transitive or monetary. So, it will keep on happening. It just seems we're such a tabloid society now.
