I don't think enough antigen tests are being reported to really effect positivity rate much. Antigen tests only make up about 2% of reported testing.

Iowa has said they added 1000 positive antigen tests in last week, I've never found a county break down. It is why Ames suddenly spiked to a 69% positive rate. In fact, Iowa's officials said some counties may appear to have over a 100% positive rate because of this. 1000 is approximately 2% of the total positives not a daily positive. Add 2% total of 6 months+ of test in a few days and it really gives you false data for a time. Clearly levels in the college towns are higher and somewhat disproportionately higher than the population increase. But not the high levels it initially appeared. By Sunday the 7 day average should more reflect what is happening in Ames/Iowa City.

The county breakdown is on the Iowa coronavirus website. Story county had 58 positives added to 2771 total positives. They also had total antigen tests performed added to their test total. The antigen testing has nothing to do with the large increase in percent positive.

I think he is talking about that one day where they put the antigen positive tests in (24 or 25th IIRC). I believe the background is that the tests were originally added but not the positives for some reason, so they added all the positives one day and there were counties hitting around 70% positive for a day if those weren't reduced to get a truer count.

The daily positivity rate was high before the antigen tests were added.

Sweden is just as low without any of what you mention. I just watched a WHO covid-19 special envoy on a talk show in New Zealand. He said he admired New Zealand's initial response, but now they were recommending to follow the Sweden model. I was shocked to hear a scientist from the WHO say that. Once herd immunity is achieved, it slows dramatically. It would be awesome news if 28.8% of ISU students and faculty had tested positive, it would mean the end of the 'crisis' phase was near.

They would play Jan, Feb, March ('21) in the B1G only for a B1G championship? Because there would be no playoff system available. Just to then turn right around and start getting ready for 2021 which everyone will hope and be planning on for Fall '21.

Why would you risk getting hurt in some weird inconsequential Spring B1G inter-squad league?

I guess I just really don't see those signatures as carrying much weight. I don't think it would matter if they had the governors sign. But it would definitely carry more weight than some members of the statehouse

They'll expect PAC12 to play also, which leads to "post-season" B1G/PAC12 "bowl" matchups. A rather rosy outlook, I suppose.

yeah that's so much of a conspiracy theory that it's been backed up by a bipartisan Senate committee controlled by Republicans.
