Will Breece be traded?

Any new rumblings on a potential Breece Hall trade? It seems like it has gotten quiet. Maybe teams aren't interested in trading for a RB.

Also, with the demand for pass rushers, I wonder if Will McDonald could get moved. I doubt it, but hopefully both can get put in better situations.

Sauce Gardner just got traded to the Colts, so i would imagine everyone is on the block for the Jets

Jets should absolutely get what they can for their current players. But do you trust the Jets to do anything good with those trade assets they are able to get? What a continual mess of an organization.

Hall behind a good offensive line and a decent QB would be scary good, it the Chiefs are not willing to add him and Dline help to make the team better for another run to the SB, they are going to regret it and fall short.

Jets received quite the haul in return. Two first rounders and the Colts are taking on all of Sauce's salary. And the Jets get AD Mitchell too.

One persons take is it doesn't seem likely...

It's all a big game. The fact they floated this means they want to move him. I bet he's gone. I just hope its to a place that can showcase him well (because the Jets sure as hell wouldn't). Many OC's would be licking their chops to get a guy that can dynamically enhance what your offense can do.

I would love to have Breece on the Chiefs but they only have 5 draft picks + a possible 5th round compensatory pick in the 2026 draft so they may have to get creative to make a deal. I don't see them giving up one of their top 3 round picks for a rental RB when they need to build a roster with cost-controlled players through the draft.

Chiefs signed Mike Pennel after he was cut from the Bengals so that may be their DL move even if it's not a huge move it brings back a player already familiar with the system and can provide some depth.

You have to imagine he's gone if they are trading Gardner. That's just a complete waiving of the white flag.
Disagree, the haul they got for Sauce seems almost ‘too good to be true’, and would be hard to pass up regardless.

Now that they have 2 extra 1st round picks from the sauce trade, getting a single 4th round pick (or, at very best, a 3rd round pick) for Breece may not be that appealing. If they can resign Breece for a mid-tier RB deal (he can’t command superstar money yet, most likely), they actually have had some promising signs that their Oline and run game are working well. The real question for them remains the QB

Sauce Gardner already signed his extension, so trading for him demanded a king's ransom.

Breece is on the last year of his rookie deal, so he will not demand nearly the capital -- definitely not a 1st or 2nd pick and only a 3rd if there is a big market driving up the price. More likely a 4th round pick to get him for a few weeks this year.

The Chiefs just are not that into investing at RB for the past few years. If they are going to trade, they have a much bigger need at DE. I don't think they are going to trade for a RB like Breece, it would be a sea change in their approach to the position.
