Can you name anyone who transferred out and became a stud somewhere else post McDermott?

None.

The only two guys who shined elsewhere after they left that I can think of were W. Johnson and A. Haluska. Neither of them left because they were not getting playing time, they were both starters and stars. Johnson was pissed about how McDermott handled his injury (with a dose of melding brother IIRC) and who knows with Haluska, that was in the middle of the whole Eustachy kerfuffle.

Guess you could throw in Shane Power (again, did not leave for playing time to be a star somewhere) who was a decent player on a good team at Miss State. Maybe Derrick Hayes who transferred to Detroit a bunch of years ago but that was not exactly a P5 star thingy.

Shawn Taggart had a pretty solid senior year at Memphis. Still, not post McDermott obviously.

Great news. Congrats to Lindell. Excited to watch him play for the good guys!

"Stud" could have been a different word. But put up solid numbers at a mm school. Sherron Dorsey-Walker had a fine career at Oakland, Clayton Custer averaged 11.5, 3 and 3 last year as a RS SO, Percy did alright after leaving. Idk why we are arguing about this, all I was saying I want him to see more minutes than the garbage time minutes, ala Long last year, and want him stay.

You get minutes if you deserve/earn minutes. It's pretty simple. Naz Long had a fine career for barely playing as a freshman.
