Because he couldn't shake the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd defender they put on him. Quickness isn't what you would call his strong suit.

Monte was running the baseline most of the game. That had to be game plan. Why?

WV guards were very physical. Monte is not. Better matchup to have somebody else bring it up and try to create.
