Now that we know who will be our head coach and also turning our D into animals, who will be commanding all the weapons we still have on Offense?? With Meyer and Blythe both coming back, who will be calling the plays? Please someone tell me Barney Cotton is out of Iowa for good and goes back to Nebraska!!!

I'm sure I don't know, but I do hope Pollard is giving him a large enough budget for assistants that he gets the goods.

You know, I think it would be totally kickass if he talked Brewster into being our oc. It'd be his first coordinator job and he'd be with people he was at least somewhat familiar with if Chizik brought any other Texas guys with him.

Or Harbaugh as OC in his initial move to the "big leagues".

Harbaugh and Brewster are not interested in coordinator jobs unless it is in the NFL.

We are probably going to see someone that will be able to come in and adjust to our personel. Which should be great for Meyer and Blythe.

theres no way harbaugh would do down in the rankings, even if it was a bcs spot. brewster, although very intriguing is very unlikely. i hope he brings in someone who knows how to run the west coast cuz with all our recievers it be a perfect fit.

...its funny how just 2 weeks ago we were "100%" that it was gonna be harbaugh...then kelly...

yea it will, most definitely, well actually I take it back, his most important hire of all is his O-Line coach!!!!!! Without a good one of those he can kiss his job goodbye within 2 or 3 years even if we do have a killer D

I wouldn't be surprised to see Barney land at either Buffalo or Ohio, he has quite a few connections at Ohio with assistants he worked with at New Mexico State

P.S what is everyone's obsession with ASH, he sucks, we need a much better D-Back coach, much much much better, I wouldn't be surprised if it is that Koonz fellow who is a GA at Texas who came with Chizik from Auburn, if he keeps anyone on the staff I would say it would be Todd Fitch and maybe Mike Grant, and maybe one of the two guys that we added last year! I also wouldn't be surprised if Mike follows Dan wherever he goes though, he seems to be a pretty damn good coach if you look at some of the receivers we have coached, as is Mike Nelson at D-Line!!!

p.s. Clone 2 the Bone that is the coolest Jamie Pollard picture in the world, that guy is a straight up nerd, he is prolly doin his calculations on his cloning machine right now, Is that a pocket protector I see!!!

Dirk Koetter is the perfect offensive coordinator, but he's good enough to land another head coaching job most likely.

Why you gotta do Tony like that?

The same Tony Alford who had Ryan Kock under his tutelege for four years, watched him score 13 short-yardage TD's his junior year, and never thought to try him at feature back until the final game of his career? Yeah, he's a keeper! :rofl8yi:

If Steve Loney's looking for a job in a couple of weeks, I'd be happy to see him back in Ames as OL \ OC!

Now that we got the big one out of the way, the OC will be the next biggest hire for the football time.
