White Helmets

I think that Iowa state should have white helmets and also all black jerseys. The color scheme would look sick! Also, I would also like to see a "throwback" with the bird on the helmet from the Seneca Wallace-Troy Davis era. Uniforms always help with recruiting if you don't go too crazy
While quite possibly true, any good engineer will be familiar with the Venn diagram, wherein some parts of the population may be overlapping. I can best estimate the CF population thusly:

Hey, sorry, I didnt see the request until this morning. I was doing other design work so I managed to squeeze this one in. Not my best (pro) work but I think it would give you a pretty good idea what it would look like w/ a white helmet. Some of the shading is off.

I like our current jerseys. I just wish we had yellow helmets with two cardinal stripes down the middle. If they can't change to that, then at least add two yellow stripes down the center of our cardinal helmets.
No more stripes...we have enough stripes. Block stripes running down are definitely out of style in this day and age...if you never had them, can't add them now. Never liked LSU's or Ol'Miss' uniforms because of them, and certainly don't want to imitate them with our respective colors. IMO, our uniforms have a good stripe/solid balance.
Edit: Yes, I know...2007 throwback uniforms, blah blah...we haven't had stripes on our helmets for almost 20 years. The AD did a great job balancing our current uniforms. Love them as a base, and would love to look towards modern and unique interpretations of our jersey (Pro Combat style).

Your a little behind the times.. Notre Dame for the past 5 years have worn alt uniforms (All kelly green, last year against Michigan, etc.), and this year Nebby and Wisky are all doing alt uniforms..
Those jack trice uniforms will happen. i've got $1000 bucks to buy one as long as i get it after the game. 75 more people do the same and good will is built without spending any money.
I'd like to see a gold helmet like the one that ISU wore in the 2007 Iowa game and in the late 70s, but with the head of Cy only (no letters) like in the link to our trademark stuff below...

I was well aware what you were talking about.. Once again, you are behind the times. If you dont think 17 year olds care about different uniforms you are dreaming. Even the "Traditional" schools you were talking about have changed uni's. Why? To appeal to recruits.

umm those "game pics" are screen shots from tecmo super bowl and the others are from myspace. I think i know a little about notre dame, my step 2nd cousin is catholic.
