When does everyone take down the Christmas tree, lights, decorations? Take down the tree the day after Christmas here. Usually leave the lights on the house past New Years.

I leave mine up until at least the middle of January. Technically the 12 days of Christmas are the 12 days after Christmas and in general I appreciate my decorations more after Christmas.

I’m completely comfortable taking them down the day after. There’s already more gifts and sh*t cluttering the house. No need to have even more crap around that can be put away

Normally after New Year's for us but we are thinking of keeping them up longer due to Covid. Maybe people can drive around look at some lights...give them some cheer or something.

Took mine down yesterday - weather was good, ground was not frozen yet so got the lights and yard decorations down. If the weather is good, my outdoor decorations come down the day after Christmas.

We took down our tree and inside decorations today.

January 2nd everything Christmas related comes down, gets pack away properly and the house is cleaned.

Its then that we marvel at how much space we have in our house

All outdoor decorations go up and come down when the weather suits it.
Could be a week before turkey and Dec 26th.

No way am I getting on a icy cold roof, yesterday was perfect for takedown.

Since the 12th day of Christmas is Jan 5th, it’s soon after that.

My daughter helped take the ornaments off the tree and the tree came down yesterday. I put the outside lights/projectors away Christmas night after she went to bed.

I took the wreath off my apartment door this morning.

With my parents the tree typically comes down before New Years. Typically depends on when/if my sister is coming down to visit with her kids. She likes to have the tree stripped and gone before they get here. Plus it’s a real tree so it’s really dry by then and needs to be out of the house.

Christmas lights typically stay on until New Years, and then get removed on a nice day sometime.

I take the lights down from the house whenever I please. If it’s spring break whatever.
