When did this board start?

I was a mod on CN. Wrote some articles for them, and was pretty sure I was the only one reading them. I think I got directed over here from a link there and its been a model of inefficiency in the workplace since that fateful day in March 2006.

August 7, '06. I don't know my number, but I'm on page 105 of the master list. I wrote a few articles for CN as well, but my exit from that site was a bit more dramatic than yours, wartknight. I remember reading articles here and lurking back in the spring of '06, but I didn't make the jump until August.

Coming up on 6 years? Maybe in another year or two I'll get an avatar.

I wondered about Jeremy just the other day. It is too bad we don't see him much anymore. He really took a professional interest in the board even when it was just a hobby.

Did we ever figure out if MonkeyBrow is dead or in jail?

Jeremy stays very, very busy with work, a wife, and a one-year-old. He still stays very active in Cyclone sports, he just does it without all of the stress now. :smile: He loves CF, but just had too much else going on.

Monkeybrow is still here, just under a different identity - one that's closer to his true persona.

I'm a creature of habit and it took me a long time to get hooked to the site. I was (and still am) a member at Cyclone Report. I love supporting both. The biggest difference to me is when the free boards died at CR it really lost its luster. I enjoy interaction with other university fan bases and CF is perfect for this.
