We drove by the grass lots around 10:30 and they were only parking the student lot at the moment but had attendants waiting at the G4 gate. Currently hanging out at a local establishment and assume G4 will open up closer to game time
In line before 7; set up soon after. The weather was brutal!

My daughter used our tickets today and had some friends in from Chicago to tailgate. I felt so bad about the weather, but they said they had a great time.
Crazy how the weather turned.....I got to Ames at 12:30 or so, had a drink at a restaurant and started walking to the game around 1:10. In those 40 minutes it went from cloudy to blue skies.
I thought we'd be lucky to not have any rain, but thought for sure we'd sitting in damp cold. Couldn't have been much nicer today.

I agree. I was on the fence about going. Didn’t want to drive 3 hours each way and deal with crappy weather. Decided to go…didn’t do our own tailgate but went to others instead. We sit in the west side and thought we would be facing a miserable cold wind…but it was actually very pleasant…and props to the crowd and students too - everyone seemed into it today, yes winning helps too
Missouri State needed a late rally to get close. SDU clearly looked like the better team, especially in the passing game hitting a 23 & 44 yarder for TDs. Bouman had a solid game.
MSU's QB(Shelley) ended up making some plays with his feet to keep them in it late, but overall didn't hit on most of his longer throws.
The team stats ended up virtually identical, but was all SD through 3. MSU couldn't pressure Bouman. SDU sacked Shelley 3 times and hit him/pressured 5 or 6 more times. Bouman was hit only twice and not sacked.
Fun trip overall. Got in the lone grass public tailgate lot. 1PM kick and dome was half empty. Sat in the top row midfield and conversated without anyone 15 feet from us. Will definitely go back, especially if SDU is having a bad season. Laid back setting. Overall entertaining game with only 1 turnover. Had a chance for OT, but MS's offense is not very good at getting big chunks of yards when they needed to late.
For once, the forecast was 100% correct. They said for days it would clear by game time. There was no reason to miss the game due to weather.
Perfect football day. Thank goodness most people came.
