Let me know if there are any corrections needed. Note that I generally leave players on the potential targets list until they give a verbal commitment somewhere, even if it's clear there is no longer mutual interest with ISU.

Rankings:
ES -- ESPN 2023 Super 60 (retrieved 12/13/2021)
AS -- ASGR 2023 Top 50 (retrieved 10/15/2021)
BS -- Blue Star 2023 Rankings -- 67 players (retrieved 12/13/2021)
PN -- Prospects Nation 2023 Elite 60 Watch List (retrieved 5/25/2021)
PG -- Prep Girls Hoops 2023 Rankings -- 50 players (retrieved 12/13/2021)

Listed here as a Center, Hannah Mills-Watson is on several sites listed as a Forward/Center. Obviously, her height makes Center a legitimate position. Though not slender, in today's "bouncers under the basketball" mentality that may be a more difficult position for her unless she has strong under basket skills on defense/offense and muscles up. There isn't a lot of info on her games--if you've seen any video I'd appreciate a link.

Audi Crooks is listed on some sites as pushing 6'4" and there is a nice little piece on her here:

The strongest 16-year-old female version of O'Neill

Iowa City High junior Kelsey Joens just joined the 1,000 point club. Sounds like she has the Joens scoring mentality. Wonder how little sister Bailey is doing.

You'll be able to watch Kelsey in the Girls State Basketball tournament next week as City High just beat Linn Mar in the Regional Final at City High this evening. Kelsey is City's primary ball handler and made some big plays down the stretch, but she had a pretty rough game tonight - too many "forces" and too many turnovers.

I've watched all four Joens girls at City High - Courtney was excellent before she tore up her knee as a HS Junior - she could do it all and rates #2 in the sister group. Ashley was a one-girl wrecking crew from the moment she stepped on the court as a freshman - the obvious #1. Aubrey was a sharp-shooter who had two other Division 1 players in her City High class, so she didn't have to carry the load all the time. I think Kelsey is most like Aubrey, though she doesn't have as much talent surrounding her so she "presses" and takes too many ill advised shots. JMHO - you'll see for yourselves next week - I don't expect City to advance so you'll probably have to watch the stream if you want to see her play.

I think Bailey is in fourth grade, so we have quite some time to wait.

Not encouraged if she wants to announce on the 10:00 news. Our type of player is usually not that attention seeking.

Yeah, especially I think our team would still be flying from Lawrence after the game. Not optimistic at all...

I wouldn't read that much into the timing. The announcement ceremony is for her, not for the school she chooses. The coaches might be notified ahead of time (they might already know).

That said, the math of the situation isn't great for us, simply because we're one of several solid options she has.

Bristow's original tweet has several likes, including a Wisconsin assistant, but the one I posted above has only two likes: Bristow and Coach Schaben. Coach Fennelly liked a Bristow-related tweet earlier today, and Coach Schaben liked a few of them today. It seems the coaches think they have a reasonable chance.

Updated with Bristow's verbal. This is great news for ISU -- she's a top-50 recruit on ESPN. Looking at highlights, she looks like a point forward -- she's very comfortable running the break, she has great hands and is a good passer, and she's capable of perimeter defense.

Highlights from last season here:

Keep in mind these are highlights from last season , so this is a sophomore you're watching.

As impressive as those highlights are, Jalynn is no Angie Welle with a 3 ball....Jalynn isn't left-handed.

To be serious, I am very impressed with her skills especially her ability to go to her right or left hand as needed when she's inside. Although Brockington is practically unstoppable now, imagine if he could do that.
