***WBB: 2026 Recruiting Thread***

We only have one senior on the team (Harris) and we have one verbal (Comito), so there's not a great need to fill a bunch of roster space in the 2026 recruiting class. 2027, however, is a different story.
They had Sangha on an official visit this summer and figured they wanted one more recruit for 26-27. I unfortunately have no hope for the 27 class at this point
I'm guessing they'd be happy getting one or both of the two players still on the list who have known offers and haven't excluded Iowa State as a finalist. And there might be others they are looking closely at (on the list or not). But it's also possible we won't get any more 2026 freshman, and while not ideal I don't think it's a problem.
But like you said, 2027 is difficult. CBF will be 70 when that class starts their freshman year. That's a tough sell. We've been recruiting the portal pretty well recently and I suspect we'll be doing that a lot for 2027 -- his eventual retirement is less of an issue for someone with only a year or two of eligibility left
My home town Gophers are putting together a really good class for 2026. Two Top 50 players (MN & WI) and now the best player in Nebraska.
Don't know much about her, but anywhere but Iowa, just because I dislike the Hawks in every sport.
Nah, my hatred of Iowa exceeds playing TCU in conference 1 or 2 a yr in conference. A good TCU reflects on the conference, a good Iowa means if you live in Iowa you hear it non f*cking stop 52 wks a yr.
I know where Rice Lake is just N of Chetek a ways N of Eau Claire on 53 if I remember correctly.
Facebook has many inaccurate posts, but I just saw one indicating Addison Bjorn has made a verbal to Iowa. I guess having a brother on the ISU football team is a prerequisite for little sister to go with the hawks.

Yeah don’t think Iowa is the favorite. I think that’s Kansas at this point. Iowa is getting a different 5 star wing
She's taking an official visit to Iowa this weekend. Someone probably just got confused and thought she committed.
Just saw that and was going to post it. Jennie is killing it on the recruiting trail right now.
