That team had an embarrassment of riches in terms of talent. They also have two Drake commits, plus 2 or 3 other future D1 players on the roster. The setter is the only starter who was a senior. They'll be heavy favorites to win the title next year. They literally only lost 4 sets all season, 2 in a win and 2 in an early season tournament loss.

Are there highlight reels for these players? Would love to see some of these players in action. Byergo with her height, Florez being compared to Manns, Johnson winning open at nationals.

She's 6-5. How athletic does she need to be as a middle blocker?
So the video I was able to find from her was 2024 nationals (after her sophomore year). On that team, so hit from outside and right side. She didn't have a crazy heavy arm, but I imagine her quickness is good enough to block out of the middle. If she's a step slow, she would make a great opposite hitter at that height.

If Florez was a few inches taller, she’d be going to one of the bluebloods. She’s still the star of the class to me and comes at a great time with Brandt graduating. She will definitely push Martin to get on the court.

We will be pretty young overall next year.

Is Reese Naeve going to be able to compete for a front row spot? Isn’t she only around 5’9”? Maybe she’ll be a back row hitter like Faith.

Seems like a pretty smooth offseason for CJL (thus far). Does not appear any of the 2025 roster has hit the portal. We had 6 graduating seniors and 5 incoming 2026 freshmen.

We do have 1 incoming transfer-
Layna Waselewsky
5’7 Soph L/DS
Spent some time as the starting Liberó for Eastern Michigan as a freshman this season.

She looks pretty athletic for 6'2". A little weird/concerning that she was unsigned this late in the process though.
