Vitale for OU game?

Fran said on twitter today that he'll be at the TCU/TTU game that Monday, which means Vitale will most likely be at Hilton for the OU game.

Really hoping not but I think there's a good shot.

Wasn't that long ago it seemed like everyone here was asking "Whar Vitale?" Now he's coming back and we don't want him? Pathetic.

It will be Bilas unless something changes. Pretty good source on it as it came from an ESPN guy here. Guessing it was a producer. Fran is getting pulled from some ISU work. Some folks are bothered by his ISU, OU and KU bias I guess.

Its not that I dont want Vitale, its that Fran is easily the best Commentator ESPN has for basketball. Fran actually provides me with knowledge, Vitale just shouts.

That'd be great, although Bilas will **** some ISU fans off with his brutal honesty regarding this team. He and Fran are the best in the biz.
 
I like **** Vitale, and look forward to his coming back to Hilton if he does get the assignment. Go Cyclones, Baby!!

Thats ridiculous. Has Fran ever been bias to one team over the other when calling games, because Ive never heard it?
 
Im not a fan of him but ESPN uses Vitale for a reason. People like watching games he calls. They are a business above all else, if he didn't bring more viewers he would be retired.

Bilas is okay. Fran's the best to listen to for me just because I feel like he's a knowledgable guy you're watching the game with. Bilas is the guy always trying to impress with some piece of knowledge which may or may not be true in the game. I'm not even sure if Vitale knows that much about basketball at this point. I have always defended the guy because i admired his passion but that OU/KU game was just brutal. It's just yelling and not in a good way like Gus Johnson. I'm also not worried about Bilas's honesty. At this point I've accepted that for this team to go somewhere it's going to be a matter of us being smoking hot for 6 straight games because of the glaring deficiencies.

Fran has a pretty solid B12 bias. The ridiculous part is that there is no way he's more biased than a lot of them are toward the east coast schools.
