My daughter is going on a site visit to KU tomorrow, I know I know...what can you do! Anyway...does anyone have good suggestions on where to grab lunch? I realize with Covid things might not be open or take out only, but thought I'd ask anyway.

FYI - I'm an ISU grad and would love to have my daughter go to ISU, but she wants to go to Med School and wants a college where there is a University hospital on site so she can have the opportunity to job shadow or internship during her undergrad. She's driven and wants to go to med school, so as a parent I support where she chooses, as an ISU grad, it's going to be tough since her 2 final choices are KU and U of I...ugh!!

Correct me if I am wrong, but I’m pretty sure the med school is in Kansas City. Unless the university also a med program in Lawrence.

Guess I'll get all the details on that tomorrow. May factor in her decision.

I lived a couple blocks away from KU med. So their medical school is in Kansas City. But there could be some operations in Lawrence. Just not sure.

I hear you and can understand where you're coming from. My son wants to go to medical school and is at the U of Iowa. He still is a huge Cyclone fan but leaves all his Cyclone gear at home. You can survive this!

No good options in either one of those:jimlad:. Good schools for medicine though.
