This is a heads up for the future. We were in lot C5 and a guy came up to us giving out American flag pins. He said that he worked for the VA and was asking for donations for our Veterans. I don't remember the VA sending employees out asking for donations for veterans, so I started asking questions. He said that he served in Baghdad, Iraq. Since I spent time in that area, I asked him what FOB he was stationed. He could not remember the name of the FOB, what area of operation they worked, or the unit he was under. More that likely he is a FAKE!!!
I am putting this out there to give people a heads up. Be careful on giving donations. I am not saying don't give, just that you may not be giving to what you think. Remember, just because it is in a Bush Lite can it really could be p*ss water.

Most likely a situation where people are selling around towns would be more your Legion or VFW. VA is something I'd never heard doing this stuff.

We had a guy stop at our tailgate a few weeks ago. And he was just giving out the flag pins left and right. Not even asking for donations.
