Updated Roster - Football

Josh Mueller signed as a 260 lb. DE. Now enrolled as a 298 lb. OL. Wow! Interested to watch this kid develop.

I remember them talking about him that every time they visited him he grew and inch and gained 15 lbs

It is kind of crazy how much bigger CMC. O line recruits are. Most are already 290+ as true freshman

Awesome! I do think one of the true freshmen will play on the o-line this year, but I'm not sure who. Perhaps Mueller will be the one! I read an article somewhere that said Foster would play this year, but he really needs his footwork to improve.

I'm beginning to think Mackenro Alexander doesn't exist. Emmanuel Malou-esque.

This was funny to me. I asked a guy that would know about him a few weeks ago. He's like "oh yeah, I've heard about him,but I haven't seen him yet." I'll see what I can dig up on him soon.

It is a pretty bad sign if one of our true freshman lineman have to play this year. The only way I see that happening is if we get 2-3 Major injuries.

I don't think it would be a bad thing. If they can all redshirt, great, but I don't think playing one guy out of the group would be a bad thing.

I say it is a bad sign because we have some guys that were decent recruits out of high school that are red shirt soph. If a true freshman is better that isn't a great sign. I also would hate to lose the red shirt because of a handful of snaps through a season.

There's a walk-on kicker that looks pretty good, name is Eric Silvester. He hit a 61 yard FG and 29 of his 38 kickoffs went for a touchback. Maybe we will finally have a kicker who can consistently kick the ball into or through the endzone!

Our kickoff coverage was one of the bright spots of the Rhoads regime. We chose to go for hang time instead of booting it through the end zone.

Just watched some video on 3-star walk-on kicker Eric Silvester. This kid will likely redshirt and then could possibly replace Netten the following year. As I mentioned, 29 of Silvester's 38 kickoffs went for touchbacks. 7 of those 38 were onside kick attempts. Silvester looks good on tape and has some potential.

So I was waiting for someone at McFarland clinic this morning and this college kid comes hobbling in and I asked what happened and said he injured his knee playing basketball but he plays football (fullback) for Iowa State. Getting an x ray but he"s pretty sure it's an ACL tear and coaches not too happy. Justin Webster from Texas. Hoping for the best but he tore the other knee a while back and felt that same pop. CPR recruited him and had nothing but good things to say about him and interesting things about new staff. Shook my hand when they called him in and said good luck. A very nice guy for sure.

Just showed up.

That is some crazy @$$ hair...

Not easy to pull off the combined Larry Fine/Curly Howard.
