Upcoming K-State Game Now Pivotal

I think the biggest game left on our schedule is now @ K-state. Sure Mizzou and Baylor are big games but we will not be favored in either. If we don't win at K-State, we could be looking at going into the B12 tourney on a 3 game slide, losing 4 out of our last 6. If this happens, I think our bubble may get popped. We do not want to be on the last four in/first four out list.

We won't be favored against KSU either. But we should have a better than 50% chance of picking up a win against either KSU or Baylor.

I've said all along we need 11 conference wins. I don't think 10 will do it even if we are 4th in the league unless we win at least 1 in the tournament and possibly 2.

I know...people will disagree. That's fine.

What this guy said. We probably won't be favored against either, but we have a good shot at picking one of them up.

Win 3 of our last 5 and we are a lock. A team with 21 wins overall and a 11-7 conference record in the Big 12 will not get left out.

They're all pivotal at this point. If we lose against OU or Tech, we'll have to pull some magic out to get to the tourney, so those two are "must-wins".

To feel good going into selection Sunday, we really need to win one between Baylor and @K-State. Given that we haven't really beaten anyone of importance away from Hilton, I don't think we get it done in Manhattan.

I'm pretty much conceding we'll lose @ Mizzou.

Agree with this, but we need to find 3 wins. That won't be easy.
I still think Oklahoma, Texas Tech, and going with Baylor. I still think that if we only get 2 that there would still be a chance of getting in. Might need to win a conference tourney game though.

I think we will win out at home and pick up another quality win when we beat Baylor.

If we're 11-7, I feel great. If we are 10-8 and win one down in KC, I feel good. If we are 10-8 and lose the first game down in KC Im very nervous.

The beauty is that we most certainly control our own destiny.

I'm not trying to diminish the OU or Tech games. If we lose either of those it would be heartbreaking.

I'm calling 4-1 from here out in conference. (Not including tournament)

We beat:
OU
TT
KSU
Baylor

Lose to MU

KSU is a team on the slide. I think ISU will right the ship with OU and TT at home coming up. I think we will beat KSU on the road. And I think we will knock the teddy grahams outta Baylor in Ames as Well.

I know.....I know.....but don't care.

I think 2 wins gets us in. I'd put our chances at 75%. If we get 10-8 and don't win a Big 12 tournament game, I'll sweat like hell on Selection Sunday, but I think we'll be OK. We are pretty far from the bubble right now.

We get 3 we are a lock.

I think 2 wins and a win in KC puts us square on the bubble. At a 4 seed, would we likely play OK ST in the tourney?
