Just lost in OT at home to a conference opponent for the 2nd straight week. 0-3 in their league. Playoff hopes all but dead. I guess all the talk of them being one of the best FCS teams was just that.
 
So wait, you are saying UNI sucks? But they beat us! Oh wait, we suck. This all makes sense now...
 
It's pretty well known that Mark Farley coaches for the Iowa and Iowa State games.

And if you didn't know, we suck...
 
They have had a bunch of injuries and have been starting 3rd and 4th string guys at multiple positiins

They lost a starting WR before the year and their 3/4 guy but that's all I'm aware of. They lost a TE or two but tthey don't feature them anyway. They are down one LB. That's how I understand it but might be wrong. Waiting for Judoka to fill me in.

Could have sworn I read in the last couple weeks that they have suffered quite a few significant injuries but I didn't find anything when I searched so I'm curious as well.

They lost LB Jake Farley to a nasty knee injury. It was the last drive in the 4th quarter, with UNI leading at #1 NDSU. I thought they were going to win until that injury occurred. It really let the air out of the whole team and they have not won since.

Jake Farley was leading the MVC in tackles when he got injured in the North Dakota State game.

David Johnson got banged up in the North Dakota State game and hasn't been the same since.

I think UNI would have won all these games if these two guys had not been injured.

Do you mean the David Johnson who carried it 35 times for 181 yards yesterday?

I know they have had some injuries and Johnson was hobbled last week but I'm asking which positions are down to 3rd amd 4th stringers.

David Johnson and Jake Farley. You may have heard of them. Their best offensive and defensive players they have.

David Johnson, you know, the guy who ran for like 500 yds against us and 10 TDs. Yeah, he's trying to play injured right now, but he's not nearly 100%.

But yeah, UNI isn't that great. We all know that. Yet, they still spanked us. That tells you where we are, doesn't it?

I'm well aware of this injury but you didn't answer the question I asked.
