UNI vs IOWA

Put this in the wbb thread instead of in states rival to maybe decrease the troll factor. Uni took them to the wood shed caught just the end of it on the radio. Seems that poor shooting doomed Iowa both three pt and FG% were in the 30's, FT % in the 50's. Hope the Hawks shoot like that when they visit Hilton.

If anyone saw the game please post your thoughts just thought I'd start it since we play both teams this yr.

Watched a good portion of it and UNI controlled the game from the start. UNI led by 30+ in the fourth quarter. Iowa could not guard the dribble drive so played a lot of zone. UNI bench outscored their starters. UNI is very good and will be a heck of a game in Hilton.

(Side note: I didn't even know the hoks played at UNI yesterday. Holy crap - I LOVE to see that kind of score for them!!)

This is the best team Tanya has had at UNI. 10 deep, great 3 point shooting and a great guard in Rucker. Beat both Mizzou and Iowa within 4 days of each other.

The Valley is loaded with Drake and Missouri State as well. Going to be a fun year in that league, might get 3 bids.
