This game was like an alternate universe version of what we saw against SDSU with one exception. Ashley Joens continues on her tear of huge scoring output and pulling down rebounds. Otherwise this was the team we all hoped for at the beginning of the season. We can expect some of these ups and downs with young players. Tonight they shined. Wise, Johnson, and Scott all played like veterans. The threes were falling. The sisters dominated the boards. They played with confidence. The only down part of the game was a lackluster third quarter. Otherwise this performance once more under the guidance of Coach Fen was exactly what we were all looking for. Next game up is going to be interesting...
