TV for Army Game?

Will be on clonezone, per weekly media conference today.

Yup. I wasn't sure what the rules would be about posting it at 11:32 when it was announced, since live broadcasts are a Premium service for Clone Zone.

I actually knew this Saturday, but was told not to post about it yet. I presume it's ok to now

I'll put it out there now, to *try* and quell the speculation before it gets out of control

This is a special event and will NOT be the norm.

Don't expect this every week

So I wonder what special circumstances arose that the Big 12 allowed this infraction of their Holy Decree. Would playing Army have anything to do with it?

Is this the "Audio Only" portion of Clone Zone, or will we actually be getting video?

It's probably the Arms Forces Feed, ISU and Army must have made an arrangement to show this to the Clone Zone members, no matter who broadcast it is, I am happy.

You mean that the TV networks are allowing us to do it? No, has nothing to do with Army, several other schools will be doing this too. More of a what is bad for the Big XII is good for us.

I understand the basic idea of what happened but I'll wait to see if there is a release about it so I don't post inaccurate info.

When will we know if game will be on espn360? If Kent St was on, would they also do Army? How long of notice was given about games on espn360 ?

What I don't get is that I can turn on ESPNU and watch Hampton play UT-Chattanooga but the Big 12 can't find a way to have every one of its teams games televised each week. That is poor leadership out of the Big 12 offices in Dallas. The Big 12 is a top three football league in America and can't find a way to get all of their teams games televised each week.

I see. How mysterious. I can't wait for the full disclosure.

The coverage for the Kent St game was announced several weeks ago, before the season started. When we get into Big 12 season, we'll hear about television coverage about 10 days before game time.

It's because FSN didn't pick an evening game (nor did FCS), and there are four Big 12 games scheduled for 6:00. This is a rare occurrence (the allowing of web streaming for a Saturday game)...I can't recall any other time this happened.

Oh, and the Tech-Houston game is AT Houston -- so the Big 12 has no say in TV selection for that one.

Certainly a freak occurance more than anything, but I'll take it

How was the feed earlier this year

The NDSU game was the best feed I have ever seen on CloneZone. I barely missed a play from lag or buffering. Picture was also as good or better than I can ever it remember it being, pretty good for a University produced computer feed.

Edit: This broadcast could be completely different though, as the last time it was the Mediacomm broadcast, this time it'll be the feed from the video board at Jack Trice.

Iowa is playing in primetime on ABC and ISU is on the 'clonezone'...wonder how many impressionable young fans we lose to the dark side yet again this year?

Way to go Big 12!
