The Fighting Mensas are the answer to the question.

WVU is going to be tough, but all the games are going to be tough, especially for a team that likes to spot the opponent a touchdown or two every game. ISU seems to handle WVU better than TX. Ellinger is a load, and the 3 man front usually struggles to get pressure on him or contain him if he takes off.

Total Offense vs Total Defense per game in Big 12 play

KSU: -55.3
Texas: -33.8
WVU: +133.0

For comparison:
ISU: +68.4
OU: +127.5
OSU: +118.0
TCU: +13.3
TT: -67.7
BU: -50.4
KU: -246.4

All three games are going to be difficult. KSU is the worst team left. But that's going to be a dogfight. Texas will be tough in Austin, they are playing better. WVU may be playing the best ball recently, but I think the Texas game will be the most difficult.

The correct way to ask the question is to rank the likelihood of winning the last 3 games from most likely to least likely:

1)WVU
2)KSU
3)Steers

I think we match up well with WVU

We have KSU at home and I think they have lost some of their starch, too much illness/injury

Tom "Where's the Babysitter" Herman has his back against the wall and will pull out all the stops. Seems he has the team rallying around him and they have the most talent of the 3 teams. Not to mention it is in Austin. Still say it is a toss up.

I think, okay - hope, that ISU will put a complete game on the field during one of these 3 games. If they do, they beat any of them. I hope it is in Austin.

Are people thinking that Texas is the toughest game left or that they're the best team left? To me, the two aren't necessarily the same. I think at Texas is the toughest game remaining and West Virginia is the best team. The Mountaineers have statistically the best defense in the league and only Oklahoma State is close.

Uniformity of Texas at Austin is the most talented team left, has the most money, and the most homeless.

Yes UT will be our biggest challenge.

Texas playing as well as they can is as good as many many teams in the country.

KSU: -55.3 (combined remaining opponents: -15.8) = -39.5
Texas: -33.8 (-233.3) = +199.5
WVU: +133.0 (195.9) = -62.9

With averages, it's not as simple as just addition and subtraction though. West Virginia probably has the toughest remaining schedule of the three, but it's unlikely that Texas or K-State will end up outgaining conference opponents on average no matter what they do in their last three games. Texas might since they still have to play Kansas. West Virginia could get outgained big time in their last two games and still end up with a very positive margin.
