Toledo time for Matt

I'm certainly not drunk. Matt was basically owned by UNI I last game. And Iowa has completely owned his ass this game. So that's two out of three programs in this state who have outcoached him. Do the math.

He has an offensive coordinator that isn’t prepared to perform at this level. That is the issue here. And not sure how you fix that. Manning has had several years to destroy players, so this isn’t a one week fix.

Second, sure, I’ll bite. Campbell’s only flaw I see is a ****** punting unit (kicking and receiving). For whatever reason he still has a laissez-faire approach to that one area of the team in year 6. It’s baffling.

As for play calling, Manning has had plenty of head-scratching game plans over the years, and I won’t say today’s was great, but his offensive unit does put up numbers, and when you have a veteran QB with this many starts, playcalls or not, he just needs to make plays. No anticipation in our QB’s eyes today, big chunk plays were there all day and he hesitated, every…single…time. I won’t pretend to know how to fix that mental side of the game, I just wish them well finding a way.

Can someone explain why Milton is receiving punts? He seems to struggle with the decision to catch or let it go. Just go back to someone like Eisworth just catching it every time.
