Tickets for UNLV game

The tickets I have that I purchased and transferred into my Apple wallet on my phone don't have a QR code, and say "hold near reader".

Anyone else's tickets like this? I've never used tickets like I'm purchasing something with my phone as my credit card before.

My Google drive tickets are a UNLV logo up top, QR code centered, and seat and time info under that.

Yes, mine are like that as well. I read that Allegiant Stadium uses NFC (Near Field Communication) technology and you just hold your phone up to the scanner like Apple Pay. If you click in the circle with the three dots in the top right corner, the QR code is in there.

Oh awesome, thanks! Wasn't sure if I'd need to have my UNLV tickets account pulled up just in case the reader didn't work.

If your phone has NFC Google Pay capabilities, you'll also likely be able to just tap it against the device. Just a different way of presenting the QR code than hitting the 3 dots on the iPhone to get to it like @je4cy23 said.

If you can notice, it is the same QR code as the PDF :chris:

LINK TO PARKING

Yea **** that

Mandalay Bay and Luxor Parking for the casino is $15 a day for non hotel guests. But not technically guaranteed. Though I gotta imagine it won't fill up since it's not a full event.

Guaranteed parking is through this link:
$55 at Mandalay, $70 at Luxor

Also official parking is $100 less the game before for Eastern Washington.

They really are trying to hit us where it hurts lol. Vegas Baby!

Where is the best place to go for tickets? Is it UNLV website or a third party website (stubhub)?

Anyone have extras?

UNLV website still has like 50-100 seats left. It might end up cheaper to get it on stub hub but to guarantee it, but it from the school

MLB is playing right now, see very few masks at the game full capacity, the NFL started pre season games last week, again few if any masks full capacity.
These teams and schools will not be able to handle another year without allowing full attendence in the stands. We might be in masks, but we will be playing in Vegas on Sept. 18th and the fans that purchased tickets will be in the stands.
One difference last year was that we had a peak in July but then cases/hospitalizations/deaths started dropping as the season began. Cases started ramping up again in October/November but by then the season was underway.

Currently cases and hospitalizations are shooting up, but who knows how long that lasts. Also those effects are a lot more regional based on amount of vaccination within a region. Of course the areas that would be at most risk for shutting down are the areas that also would have the most resistance to it.

The games themselves will happen either way though. Fans would be the only thing up in the air. At this point I think we will still have fans, but if things don't hit a peak soon that could run into issues

Vaccinations are readily available everywhere and the unvaccinated make up like 95% of the hospitalizations. I don’t think the “shut everything down” crowd has a leg to stand on if the data stays that way.

Just picked up two tickets for $113 a piece on stubhub in section 207.

stubhub also has tickets for sale in section 231. How is that possible? They haven’t opened that section on the UNLV site for single game and they dont have season tickets in that section
