Thursday OT - For No Good Reason

The Planet of the Apes had a TV show in prime time as well as a cartoon series. My brother and I loved everything PotA.
I also loved Jonny Quest (the original) - best cartoon ever, imho.
The one show that has stood the test of time has been Hogan's Heroes! I purchased the entire series on DVD - all three of my daughters (college-aged) love the show.
We've been DVRing Hogan's Heroes, as well as Perry Mason and Andy Griffith. I concur on Jonny Quest. The Erickon Bar (anti-gravity device) with the gargoyle was probably my favorite.

Bugs Bunny's "Barber of Seville" and "Casey at the Bat" episodes were classics.

I've never played the game, but I watched the **** out of the Dungeons and Dragons cartoon. When the kids finally made it back to the carnival only to be followed by Venger and having him blow up the ferris wheel was a memorable episode for me. Seeing the kids return to the realm to save their world was a gut punch to young Cooler.

Also, I watched every episode of the original Transformers cartoons religiously. Looking back, Starscream was such a little *****.

Does anyone else remember the Dragon's Lair cartoon? I loved the option to choose your outcome (even though you didn't have a choice).

A really weird show I remember is the Secret World of Og. It came on after Saturday morning cartoons finished and I didn't realize I'd been hooked into a three part series until after the first one finished.

Besides the Gargoyle episode, I loved the Mummy and Yeti episodes!
