This week's games ...

-ISU wins, ISU covers. Baylor dead last running the ball and defending the rush.
-Texas wins, WV covers. Still not sold on WV despite the gaudy defensive stats.
-TCU wins, Tech covers. Completely meh on this one.
-OU wins and probably covers times two.
-OSU wins, OSU covers. KSU will have issues generating offense against OSU...KSU was thin to start the year, like ISU of 2-3 years ago...attrition is killing them now.

We shall see which Texas shows up. They have been all over the place this year and WVU has been getting better on offense to go with that defense.
That defense is fake news.

WVU's defense is what you will need with Ehlinger. He has shown the propensity to get wild with his throws when you put even a little pressure on him. So it's the best chance WVU has, and that is what their defense is good at.

Ehlinger was a measly 18/34 (53% completion is terrible) passing for 169 yards. He had a nice 3 TDs to 0 INTs though, so credit where it's due there. Until the Okie State game he has thrown at least 1 INT in every Big 12 game this year, so I would be surprised if WVU doesn't get him at least once.

I agree but Okie St D is much much better than WV. Ehlinger will get his. Hopefully there's a pick 6 mixed in there though.

Come on, man. K-State lost its senior QB v. TxT. At WVU both the best defender, AJ Parker, and best receiver, Briley Moore, were out, the latter injured during the game. Without them, K-State is a decided underdog v. oSu.

Think where ISU would be without Purdy, Kolar, and Elsworth?
We'd have Hunter...rest easy. ;-)

That is a lot of firepower to lose. Thompson is probably the biggest loss. Kid was just someone that made plays. KSU has done a ton on special teams to cover up these issues, but you can't go on like that for very long. I agree, KSU will not cover without some points outside of offense.

Just let ISU win out - don’t care about coverages.

With the exception of Ku/OU, all these games are interesting matchups. ISU and oSu seem most likely to win. The other two not so much as WVU and TxT can be dangerous, particularly the Eers, albeit both are playing away games.

Baylor +13.5 @ ISU - seems right - 6:00 FS1 mostly study to +14
WVU
+7 @ Texas - take the points - 11:00 ABC down a tad to +6.5
TxT +10 @ TCU - coming off shelling, take toads - 2:30 FS1 down to +8.5
Ku + 38 @ OU - could be 50 - 2:30 ESPN2 down to +37.5 ;)
oSu
-11 @ K-State - not enough - 3:00 Fox moves to -12.5
