I can at least comprehend the Ferentz situation. Gold old boy nepotism just blasted into everyone’s face with a big middle finger.
The manning thing I just can’t understand. He’s unbelievably bad. His offenses have been so underwhelming at best, and now horrific at worst. I mean we’re now dropping into bottom of all FBS territory with players that are absolutely better than that.
Breece masked a lot of this how he would pop off a 60 or 70 yard td on his own frequently.

The way the D got the ball back with that Tampa sack…you needed to move the ball 20 yards to have a shot and they got 3.
We have no team speed on offense and our offense line gets no push , especially the right side. Not a good combination when you need scores to win. This was all hidden the last couple of years with breece and our big tight ends.
Only silver lining is I suspect KSU and Baylor are among best defenses on the schedule…but KSU’s offense is gonna pan out to be pretty average.

They're a less crisp version of Snyder's teams but still pretty opportunistic offensively. Pick your spots and get the ball to your play makers.
Yes. There is - Campbell is a very conservative coach when you think about it and that's how we play on offense.
Manning has no ability to feel a game out and never gets into rythm.

But we need a new OC but we also need CMC to change his offensive philosophy. He reminds me of a defensive minded coach who wants to play it coach to the vest and doesn't want to take chances or risks offensively.

i think the well is poisoned here, there are so many problems offensively. And its been going on 2 years now. You got no qb, no identity, everyone plays the exact same defense and there are no answers, wasting defense performance after defensive performance. its not good
This years team and last are giving me McCarney team vibes. Some players thinking they are above the team and can do no wrong. Campbell has reached his peak and now we will just constantly see 5-7, 8-5 teams over the next couple years unless something changes. Either make some staff change ups or start getting rid of the players who think they are above the program
