I strongly believe the mafia did not recruit every night out of fear of hitting a Bennett. They likely investigated first, which means they've at most completed 3 investigations and haven't used all 3 recruitments.

Think that depends on if an instakill can take out a Bennett, right? If SCNCY gets taken out, mafia gets an instakill.

I think the Bennett post investigation immunity only applies to the nightly mafia kill, so I would think they could instakill PSY...they just can't use their routine night kill.
Right?

What you quoted refers to instakill gained by the trich. Does the same rule apply if the instakill is gained by Lisa dying? If so, then lynching SCNCY is a no-brainer.

Gonna be as forward as I can be. I would rather we lynch SCNCY before mafia can gain even one additional member. If I get instakilled then so be it, but stopping two mafia members and not having any more added is well worth it.

Agree... But keeping you alive and having you vet someone each night (if the mafia truly can't take you out) would be super powerful too.

If Psy can’t be instakilled after an investigation by Neumann’s then getting the leader makes the most sense. I doubt they have used all the recruiting slots yet.
