I guess the old cliche is true. If you have 2 quarterbacks fighting for the starting spot...then, you really don't have ANY quarterbacks. I am starting to understand why the coaches are torn on this one. Jantz and Barnett are different, and yet, exactly the same. Jantz has more talent. But makes terrible decisions. Barnett usually makes the right play. But he doesnt have the talent to consistently execute. The result is a mediocre offense. We keep talking about taking the next step. The defense started to take that step forward last year. After losing some key guys to graduation, they have actually gotten better this year. The offense is basically the same as it was on day 1 under Rhoads. Heck, even our punter has a crap day.

We're building everything else into place, just need the head honcho, numero uno, the big man, to take the snaps.
