I was initially skeptical that this staff could do much with existing players but damned the results to date are very very convincing. The 08 defense was one of the worst i had ever seen at ISU - horrible. What a spectacularly dramatic change in 09. And what happens when Burnham/PR get their own guys? We have a real coaching staff who WANTS to be in Ames. Our program will get very very interesting in the next few yrs - reality, not sipping cool aid.

All good points. We basically have the same players as last year, but much different results. We've been competive in every game other than Eastern Iowa U. I think the impovement in defense has been especially impresive.

We get some horses in the line up and watch out with this coaching staff.:yes:

Boys....I have a message for all those teams that are gonna take us er the clones lightly.

Those DAYS ARE OVER!!!! Take the clones lightly these days and you are liable to get (i love this)...."Baylorized"...Just like what happened last nite to those big bad baylor bears!!!!!!


Im not afraid of nebraska either...the big bad big red will struggle to beat us at best ....and at worst the big red will lose another game in memorial stadium to out clones!!!!

Right now ISU has the best coaching staff since the days of Earle Bruce!! Remember good old Earle and his 24-21 win over 16th rated nebraska in october of 1977?? Didnt think so I do cause I was there for the big red meltdown!!!!

Come on Clones...Pound those little reddies into submission!!!!

It's a long time coming ladies and Gentlemen I like the progress we are making each and every game., 3 4 years down the road(or next year), we'll be the team everyone is going to worry about, i see us making bowls and competing throughout the conference.
