If UT scores anything over 21 the game is a loss. Quite frankly......it may take less.

Their defense may not be the best in the world.....but they have 5 star talent everywhere and a 3 game losing streak to ISU is more than enough motivation. And unless the staff has been sandbagging and starts throwing to the TE's more than once a game and doing something........anything to show that ISU is more than 3 yard crossing routes the UT defense is going to have a hey day.

That and our defense is due for one of it's bad first half's. All that adds up to come Sunday morning ISU is 0-4 in the conference.

Ewers was 9/12 132 yards before he got injured against bama in 1st quarter.

i hate Texas. but they boatrace bama that day if Ewers doesnt go down.

Their dline is huge, no one has run it on them.

texas is 6-0 with a healthy Ewers. I hope Texas loses more games so it isnt in the CCG, but i think they're a lock atm.

On boat racing 'Bama with Ewers? That's a real stretch.

And their D has given up over 100 yds rushing to everyone so far except WV (61), and La Monroe (92).

I think the defense will give it all they can, but will have to be on the field most of the time and in poor field position

Texas wins by more than 2 touchdowns. No ISU touchdowns. Another week of Manning making zero changes yet expecting a different outcome.

I don't know what the book is on this Kardashian or whatever his name is coach at Texas....and I'm too lazy to look up. Has he ever run it up on a defeated opponent? My hunch is they are going to covet style points and do everything to hang 50. Texas 52-Iowa State 3 -Austin Homeless Meth-heads 14 broken-into-cars.
Much like our early Baylor targeting call...I hope the referees have a "point of emphasis" and predisposition to quickly call Texas for unsportsmanlike conduct on their first possession.

Last week I said that on any given week, we have about a 30-40% chance of winning.

After watching how anemic the offense was against KSU last Saturday (and I don't see a way to solve it, short of a "try anything" approach - which I can't see this staff taking), I'm going to have to lower that to about a 20-30% chance of winning any given game. Dumb luck is still a thing. It's about all we have at this point.

Quite disappointing that that video has no images of Z dealing with a dugout phone or water cooler that wronged him.
True - although I'd settle for him decking Michael Barrett lol.

Texas I imagine is playing over and over last year's game and I imagine is salivating for payback.

OU hangover, 11 AM kickoff against the 0-3 Big XII Cyclones adds up to a late arriving crowd if at all. OSU on the horizon. All of this spells out a chance. But I'd give us a 30% chance to cover and 10% chance to win.
Or pissed off Texas who watched a 30-7 loss all summer and this week similar to West Virginia last year

This team and program are built to keep games close. So I like ISU and the points. But we’ve also shown we win like 1/3 of the games we keep close. So not very optimistic about getting a win. But as others have said, this is when a Campbell team can jump up and surprise you.

I'll see you the first offensive series and raise you the second or third:

Slow run up the middle.
Flare pass to Noel in the flat that gets blowed up.
Randomly a big pass down field or catch and run that gets us moving.
Maybe another first down.
Then a slow developing run play.
False start.
Short cross completion.
Dekkers holds onto the ball and is sacked driving us out of FG range.

We're 1-7 in our last 8 one-score games. I don't think this will be a one-score game though.
