Sorry if this was posted elsewhere, but it looks like Tennessee has "given up" on CMC. This was one school I was most worried about and am relieved to see that the huge buyout really does seem to be big enough to keep others away for a year or two.

Tennessee couldn't get past the fact that MC didn't talk to them outside of a polite "not interested"...its a bit rich to blame it on the 9 million dollar buyout.
I wanted him to coach my daughters soccer team but that 9 million dollar buyout was just too steep

Bottom line: CMC be gone if these jobs are open. Ohio State, Michigan, Wisconsin, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Penn State, Ohio Northern [I'm an Alum].
If and when he leaves, he will have a gut feeling that this was supposed to happen just like the ISU job.
That is a problem.....2 reasons why not 1] one year to early 2]there are nine million reasons why I hope it doesn't happen. When I heard the job was open I said Oh no!. Never know, but if it was next year I would be scared for my ISU brethren.

Campbell probably smart enough to see the writing on the wall. Big12 will not allow Iowa State and Campbell to excel. Most lopsided officiating game I think I have ever seen.
