Tell us about your wallets (or billfolds)...

I'm still using the same wallet I bought 16+ years ago when I got my first one. Single fold, running about 3/4" thick (need to clean it out). DL, 2 credit cards, debit card, auto/health insurance cards, two work cards, some misc cash, a concrete crack gauge, and some misc work receipts I need to send in for reimbursement. Oh, and a family photo that's got to be at least 15 years old.

Wallet is in the back right pocket, and gets stuffed in my work desk drawer as soon as I hit the office so I don't sit on it all day long.

My wallet is usually full Costanza. I don't carry much cash on me but anymore every place you go has some kind of rewards program so you either have a card to swipe or punch card for something to save a few bucks.

Even if you aren't interested in going the full digital payment route, you should use a digital wallet for all the rewards cards. It is really easy to setup. There is no reason anyone should be carrying around a wallet stuffed with those things anymore.

I don’t get why anyone would carry insurance cards, family photos or more than one credit card on a daily basis. Take pics of insurance cards photos etc. since you already carry a smart phone and one rewards card that you pay off every month is all you need. I do like to carry a couple hundred in cash for emergencies.

A word of advice... if you’re someone that uses a big, fat wallet, please carry it in your front pocket. I’ve seen a few people develop sciatica from basically having a thick wallet dig into their a$$ whenever they sit.
