Tech fan here not looking to troll just excited we are finally relevant. I'm not sure I can go along with the blow out talk that a few of you post. I know it can't always be the case because it is all about the match ups but we handled pine bluff by a much wider margin and beat Hawaii and Richmond by double digits who in turn both defeated northern Iowa. Btw I think Iowa state will win
Transitive property doesn't follow rational thought. I sincerely mean good luck to you but I believe you are being overvalued. I remember this talk last year with TCU and their fans. I think this will be TTU's reality check game.

But, hey. Opinions can be changed. Go out there and prove you can hang!

I don't think we will finish in the top 3 or 4 of the big 12 but I think we beat one of those guys this year. But more importantly we are different in that we will be competitive in most every game. We have bigs that can play a little and that hasn't been the case since bob knight left. Can't argue with the overvalued argument until we beat a couple of upper tier programs. Hopefully that changes this year

Not sure what you're looking for here. Remember, every fan base has a few guys make those same type of predictions. What I've read is that 'most' fans have been impressed with your progress and start of this season, realizing ISU will have to play well to win. Bottom line, all the gurus are constantly saying how tough every big12 game is going to be.

Not sure what I was looking for either it's not like I'm changing your minds with my "tech is better than what you think" talk. I guess one question I have is how much is your o dependent on Niang? I think we have a guy that will give him fits

OU thought they would have a guy that would give him fits... everyone thinks they "have a guy" that will give Niang fits.

Yeah I don't see someone on Tech giving him fits

TTU is #28 in the AP Poll. This is almost a carbon copy of TCU last year.

Anyone thinking we're gonna waltz thru this one is nuts.

Your coach doesn't seem to agree with you:

Tubby said:
“He reminds me a lot of a guy I had by the name of Tayshaun Prince, who is still playing in the NBA. He was so versatile and could knock down outside shots,” Smith said. “He’s a real nightmare matchup for a power forward or a small forward. Then his ball handling skills, his passing skills, just his all around game, I’ve been more impressed with him than just about anybody we’ve watched this year. It will be a real challenge. Just have to hope he’s not on top of his game.”

We should be favored to win and we should win every big 12 game in January. If we don't it won't be the end of the world, but we would have fallen short of expectations and that will be disappointing.

I would love to win through to the A&M game. We could sacrifice that game for some rest for all I care.

Ames
Tech has a few more Big 12 athletes than they've had in the past. They gave us a little bit of trouble in Ames two years ago. It will probably be a frustrating game for those who expect us to run Tech out of the gym from the tip. Thomas will have to bring his Buddy defense to Gotcher. They are better than the team we throttled last season. Still expect a double digit win in Hilton.

I hope ISU wins by 15-20 because they need to be more dominate in Hilton than they have shown so far this year, at least against anything other than cupcakes.

Tech is likely not a top half Big 12 team, but they are not bad either. They are not a great shooting team, yet they have managed to average over 76 points per game.

I hope ISU comes out and destroys them from the start, but I'm guessing it will end up being a less than 10 point margin of victory for the Clones.
