Actually kind of an underwhelming roster IMO. I’m sure they are still favorites for gold, but where’s lebron? Westbrook? Anthony Davis? If they aren’t injured, no excuse for them to not be on that roster.

Actually kind of an underwhelming roster IMO. I’m sure they are still favorites for gold, but where’s lebron? Westbrook? Anthony Davis? If they aren’t injured, no excuse for them to not be on that roster.

Key clarification: was the best player in the world. A national Olympic team needs players ready to play every day.

The only necessary improvement to this US team would be the addition of Haliburton, the true ROY.

I think the NBA playoffs this season are making it pretty clear some of those old warhorses -- who were obviously great for a long time -- are starting to be superseded by the next generation.

Isn’t it pretty simple why a lot of big names aren’t playing? With the NBA wanting to get back onto schedule next season, playing in the Olympics means you have like no offseason

After the quick turnaround from the bubble, I don't blame some of them.
I like the top half of that roster but guys like Kevin Love shouldn't be on it.
