Not exactly sure.
We're planning to go to Morgantown for our first time this year. Looking for any tips - all options are on the table. We'll be driving the RV, but I'd rather not park in their big RV lot (1) because it's 1+ mi west of the stadium (2). I assume the blue lot (3) will be the center of the activity, but there's also a closer RV lot (4) that's probably high dollar on the secondary market.

What's been your experience?

Am I the only one wondering why they put the people with physical disabilities (the ADA lot) as FAR AWAY as they possibly could?

Are you guys saying the avg Joe who is not a donor can park in the blue or green lots close to the stadium? That surprises me. If so, I’m guessing it costs $30 or more. Happy to pay if it’s an option. This will be our first trip to Morgantown.

Does anyone know what Personal Rapid Transit station is closest to the stadium and how far it is from the station to the stadium ?

It’s on the far side of the hospital from the stadium. The walk isn’t too bad and lots of moonshine along the way!

It’s far enough away that I never even considered it….but I’m old. We parked west of the stadium and it was not a bad walk.

I was curious and just looked at a map and the Mountaineer Station is closer than where we parked. I suspect I didn’t consider it being aware of how long I would have to wait to catch a PRT after the game. When we travel to a new area, I call the local Chamber of Commerce and ask the person who answers the phone questions like this. They are usually impartial local folks who will tell you what is the best thing to do. Chamber types want visitors to have a positive experience. They’ll also tell you the good bars and restaurants.

Just purchased 2 passes in Gold Lot through University for $40 each including fees, Looks to be about a 15 minute walk. All the closer lots are slod out and secondary market is $200+ at the moment.

WVU doing "Coal Rush" (black alt unis) for that game.

And it sure looks like their parking lots open at 7 a.m. no matter what the kickoff time is. Good luck, everybody.

What time is everyone heading to the tailgating lots on Saturday? We are a group of 9, so would like to go somewhere to atleast watch some of the game, but also tailgate. Has anyone heard is specific areas to tailgate or have suggestions? Any ISU specific tailgates?
