The DSM one is the middle of the day on a Monday. Are they only hoping to see the wealthy and retired folks?
So far I’m really enjoying listening to interviews of Rogers…. so refreshing from our last guy. Who was our last guy anyway? I’ve forgotten.
I'm sure this will cause a bit of headlines. Also sure the B1G & SEC country will be like who the F is this guy to be talking?
He is. Problem would be the other conference schools that broke away would have no solidarity. Moment the Big10/SEC group would expand, we’d all be lining up to be next team in.JP is 100% correct here
True. I'd argue the Big Ten and SEC don't have solidarity either. They're already infighting about revenue sharing. He is. Problem would be the other conference schools that broke away would have no solidarity. Moment the Big10/SEC group would expand, we’d all be lining up to be next team in.
I agree with him that it would be best for us at this point. But, they must take all sports.JP dares SEC and B1G to break off was interesting
JP isn't afraid to speak his mind. While we may not always agree with him, one thing we can appreciate is he is not intimidated by anyone.JP is 100% correct here
Very different situation. JP is at a tailgating tour, an off site event. The PSU interview with Rocco was at PSU facilitiesWe all made fun of Penn State's "great" lunch table setup for Rocco's interview. Why is JP doing an interview in front of a rack of mismatched clothes hangers? Is there not some sort of PR person "setting the scene" a little?
I don't care if he's in the bathroom of an I-80 truck stop, spend 30 seconds to make things more professional looking for an interview that you know will be all over the internet.JP isn't afraid to speak his mind. Originally I was against it a few years ago but now I am all for them breaking away (if in all sports). As it currently stands it is not anywhere close to equitable. I completely agree with his comment that they only want rules that favor them and don't support anything else. Fox being in bed with the Big 10 and ESPN being in bed with the SEC is ruining the sport especially since ESPN owns the rights to the playoff. No wonder the SEC doesn't want to go to 24 since ESPN looses there exclusive rights unless the playoff expands to 24. I say let the SEC and BIG 10 leave and have everyone else be separate.JP dares SEC and B1G to break off was interesting
You can be correct but still be dumb for saying it.JP is 100% correct here
