I don't think anyone views him as a threat of any kind. Barring him orchestrating a spectacular blindside of cirie, he's got no chance of winning
My point being, he can't win challenges and can't make fire.
His skills are his brain, his mouth and his ability to milk an immunity idol.
I mean those exact skills have won many people the game of survivor. Usually the Challenge beasts get their fire turned out because they are to dominate in them.
There are enough "old school" members on the jury that this vote may play out different if he has no challenge wins or other parts to a balanced game to show. Those players from older seasons are not going to hand a win over to some smug punk like Rizo without some more things on his resume to show. He maybe could have pulled off a win in recent seasons that way but pretty sure he doesn't have Ozzy's vote now and I'd be surprised if Coach and Stephanie would vote for him either.
If Cirie gets to the final 3 the only person left I could see beating her is Devens and it could be a close vote depending on how many jury members he rubbed the wrong way. There aren't enough members on the jury from post season 40 that would think in a way to vote for someone like Rizo to win IMO. Joe played recently but the kind of game he and Johnathan plays I think challenges and how you go about voting people out from here on out are going to align more with how someone like Ozzy and Coach and maybe even Stephanie are going to look at how you played the game when they vote than it would someone like Tiff, Emily and Dee for instance. Chrissy, Coach, Stephanie, and Ozzy are from a completely different era of the game and if Cirie winds up on the jury that block of votes right there probably aren't going to hand you a win without some challenge wins and big moves to show even with a strong social game.
Without knowing how things will play out from here on out if I had to put a power ranking of the remaining players left that could win here is where I have everyone:
1. Devens - dude has played with no fear and somehow survived up to this point with a huge target on his back. I suspect he winds up on the jury though because he's the biggest threat to win
2 Cirie - may not have won any challenges but she sure has manipulated several votes to go the way she wanted and everyone has gone along with her on them
3. Johnathan - challenge beast but he has found a way to stay in this long even with that target on his back and has some vote moves to show as well
4. Aubry - always seems to be on the outs but finds a way to stay in the game
5. Rizo - he's surviving the same game he did last season by having an idol but never actually using it. Has aligned up with the right people so far but can he really claim any of the big moves were his because feels like he's just went along with other people's plans so far
6. Tiff - just lying in the weeds this season, really can't name anything memorable she has done up to this point
7. Joe - I have always like him as he plays a very honest game and seems like a great guy, but he is playing a really dumb game right now and has nothing to show for it at the moment if he were to make the final 3
I won't say that Devens has no chance to win, some of that depends greatly on who he's facing but if he's going up against Cirie he has no chance to win. Zero. Nada. You're forgetting Survivor winner rule #1, don't be an *******. Joe and Jonathan hate his guts. He's not getting coach's vote no matter who he's going up against. Doubtful to get Stephanie's vote. Wouldn't get Ozzie or Tiffany's vote against Cirie for sure.
I think a Devens vs Jonathan (and bring along member to be named later) would be a very interesting vote.
I think I agree with your rankings after the first 3 but I also think that only Joe and Rizo would be in my mathematically eliminated category right now. Joe has done more in the game than Rizo so far but I think he's in by far the worst position of any players remaining. He can't beat Jonathan or Cirie in the final but given his "honest gameplay" boasting I think he'd lose more votes blindsiding both of them than just riding with them. Rizo could very well blindside Cirie but I'm not sure it would boost his resume enough unless it was spectacular (like getting everyone to vote for one person then him using his idol on that person and having his vote send Cirie home)
Tiff needs to orchestrate Jonathan going home and make sure Cirie doesn't make final 3 in order for her to have a chance to win.

The key with those two is they are both playing lesser versions of the same game someone else is already playing in this game. So ideally for them Tiff would beat Jonathan in a challenge then rally votes to get him out. Aubry would outwit Cirie in dueling schemes. The hope is that doing that you not only get a threat out of the game, you take those players' jury sympathies as well.
I sadly think we lose Cirie tonight. But I also think tonight is a double elim so the finale will start next week with the final 5.

I think it's a given at this point that Rizo makes the finale. But he won't get any votes to win. Just sucks because had Jonathan or Joe been able to spell that challenge word right, Tiff would be gone not Cirie. I really like Tiff alot, I just truly think Cirie is a GOAT and wanted her to at least make the final.
Aubry is now sitting VERY pretty. She got Ozzy and Cirie out. She's not winning challenges but she's been monumental lately in leading the charge and/or getting threats out like Ozzy/Devens/Cirie.
Yeah I was baffled why Aubry and Rizzo were looking to Joe and Jonathon, probably the two worst spellers in the game, to win that challenge. Made zero sense.
Agree on Rizzo, he'd be Russell Hantz 2.0, best Survivor player ever at getting to the finals and giving themselves zero chance to win at the same time.
At this point, I think Tiff doesn't lose to anyone in the final, Aubry and Jonathan only lose to Tiff and maybe each other, the other two have no shot.

Rizzo in the final makes we want to puke. But it completely makes sense to take him, as the other players all realize he has no shot to get the votes, so bring him along as a no-chance competitor.
Plus, we know he would fail at a fire challenge.

Rizo has played a great game minus his child like nature. Sorry but he has. I hope he don't win but he is playing 9 days after getting back from playing the game. He is drastically thin compared to when we saw him start last season.
Also, Cerie is not the best player ever. Sorry Audrey, she has played 5 seasons and has not won or sniffed winning. Sandra and Tony are the GOATS. They won twice. I would say Rob is a close third. You can't play 5 times and not win and gloss someone the best.

No Rizo hasn't. He's been lucky the entire season because no one knew how he played since they didn't view his season. He's here now because he won't get one single vote. Period.

5 times with no wins. Yeah she actually is not very good at the game. If you play something 5 times maybe win one before saying you are the GOAT. If she was good she would have always been in the final. That is part of the game. Getting to the finale. No getting to final 7. Final 7 means you didn't do the game the right way. Much like Ozzy, and many others who get some sort of weird credit for being good even though they fail every single time

Do you actually watch Survivor? Because you have a fundamental misunderstanding of how the show works. Cirie is widely considered the best player to never win because she didn't lose due to poor gameplay; she lost due to unprecedented twists that she couldn't account for.
In Micronesia, she was in a winning position until a surprise final two twist took it away. In Game Changers, she was literally the only person eligible to receive votes at the final six because everyone else had an idol or immunity, meaning she was voted out with zero votes against her.
If you think a player who can manipulate an entire tribe into giving up a dynamic immunity necklace or convince a player to literally hand over their hidden immunity idol (Heroes vs Villains) 'isn't good,' then you’re watching a different show than the rest of us.

I feel like I am the only one who likes Rizzo. I get that most will call it luck, but the balls to play Survivor twice in a row and keep your idol until the last Tribal Council both times is pretty amazing. I believe it was 9 Tribal Councils in 49, not sure how long this season, but if they track that, it as to be close to a record.
I assume he will make fire again, and I hope he gets passed that, because I would love to hear his arguments to the jury.
I have watched all 50 seasons. Every single one of them. Apparently you don't know that the goal is to win the game. Not have 4 and ten with the ball and you fumble the ball. Not to try and make a last second shot and miss. It's the same in every single sport. A loss is a loss. Saying you are good at the game is not true. Being good at the game makes you win the game. Nobody gives a rip about how well you played because if you got voted out, you did not play the game well. We can say "Oh they played well". Except good game play isn't good game play in Survivor. Good game play is making it to the end and getting the votes. Otherwise you just assisted everyone else getting to the end. She sucks at Challenges to the point that Jeff makes her a feel good story by getting across a balance beam and not falling into the Ocean. She also has lost Big Brother as well. She did play the Traitors very well, which is basically a guessing game and she is trustable.
