I am on episode four. It's slow moving but all the reviews I've read says things pick up big time after this episode. I dig it so far.
Watched the first two episodes tonight, it is a little slow going but well done. Enjoying it so far.
Can I also say the title sequence is effing awesome? I love it. Total 80s feel.
I've watched two episodes, and I am loving it. It has a really nostalgic feel to it. The music is great, and the acting is for the most part good. A couple of the kids are over acting.
I may have watched them all Sunday. It's worth the watch though in general it didn't end as strongly as I had hoped.
Doing episode 5-8 tonight! I love Winona Riders level of crazy so far! And the music is part Kubrick part John Carpenter. Hoping to get some resolution......
The wife and I finished it in less than 24 hours. Don't know how I feel about a season 2, but they definitely left it open ended. I loved the development of Dustins character, all the boys really. I thought Dustin was going to just be the overweight idiot, but he has some really brilliant moments.

I watched straight thru on Saturday. Obviously I liked it since it held my attention for 8 straight hours. Loved the first episode and the last episode. They ended it well otherwise I would have probably come away thinking it was just ok overall.
Re: Season 2 I wonder if they'll take a AHS approach and play on the theme but have a whole new storyline.
Just finished binge watching the last 3 episodes. Overall I'd give it a solid B+ lots of nostalgia for the 80s and a good written show with well developed characters. In addition to the Dustin character, I thought they did a good job with Steve. He very easily could have been a one dimensional yuppie ******, but wasn't.
I had the same thought of them doing an AHS style show with season 2 being a different story. They certainly left this open to continue the story but I'm not sure where they go with it. It could be good but it could be bad.

I don't normally love that idea but for this series I'd be in favor of it. New story, same feel.
wasnt a bad series, I'll be interested how they can do a season 2 and what they will do with some of the characters being how things changed so much right at the end. Great cast and you gotta love the 80s music used through out.
I started watching this show and am halfway through Episode 5 right now. Love the nostalgia Spielberg/ET/Tron feel of the show, but it was definitely a VERY slow burn at first, especially in the first couple episodes. With that said, I've liked it more and more with every episode and it definitely has me hooked at this point. There is no doubt that things have started to pick up in the past couple episodes. With that said, I'm just hoping for a good ending.
